Dr. Arnold joined Guilford Internal Medicine Group in 1991, after completing her Rheumatology fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Arnold moved from Tennessee in 1978 to attend Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, graduating Phi Beta Kappa in 1982. Dr. Arnold graduated from the Yale University School of Medicine, Alpha Omega Alpha, in 1986 and then stayed at Yale to complete a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Rheumatology. Since finishing her fellowship in 1991, she has maintained close ties with Yale, where she is an assistant clinical professor of medicine. Dr. Arnold is active in the rheumatology department at Yale, participating in weekly grand rounds, teaching fourth year medical students and attending on the inpatient consult service. Board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology, Dr. Arnold enjoys managing a wide variety of conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, gout and lupus. As a practicing rheumatologist and internist, she is especially aware of the difficulties of managing complex rheumatology patients with multiple health conditions. Dr. Arnold is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. Dr. Arnold is married to John Bozzi, a legal aid attorney for Statewide Legal Services and head football coach for Coginchaug High School in Durham. They have two grown sons, Aaron (Amherst College 2010) and Michael (Haverford College 2012). In her spare time, Dr. Arnold enjoys hiking, kayaking, biking, reading books and traveling.
